Am I entitled to a travel grant? I'm presenting a poster at an upcoming conference.

Yes, in fact, all graduate students that are members of the GSA are eligible for a travel grant to offset costs of participating in an academic conference in their field of study that is located more than 100km away from campus. Students can apply only if they are presenting an oral or poster presentation. Submission of abstract is required in advance.

What if I'm only a part time student?

That's cool! We have 20 travel grants at $400 each on reserve for part time students! Just visit the Grad Studies office.

As a PhD student, I've already used my travel grant. What can I do?

New in 2011, we have made available a second travel grant for PhD students valued at $500.
